I brought this Panasonic to replace my 15 year old Panasonic and we love it

This is a replacement for my VT60 plasma, which itself is a gold standard device. I have a 4k projector already but use the TV for daily viewing of free to air and as a monitor for photos and videos shot on my GH5 and G9 cameras, both 4K. I also have a DB900 UHD player and as the projector does not support HDR was keen to see the difference in both photos and video from my stuff as well as on UHD disks. I also have an Apple TV4K and wondered how it would compare to the disc output. So performance, once clear of the terrible "dynamic" and to a lesser extent "normal" modes the picture was remarkably good. Photos look incredible, points off for not providing a high speed SD card reader, in fact no card reader. However via HDMI from the cameras both video and photos are superb. UHD video discs look great and the HDR works very well so far on the limited disks I own. Even HD content on free to air TV looks amazing and much to my surprise 4K streamed content from the Apple TV is better than I had hoped as is 4K YouTube which far exceeded my expectations. I have a fibre NBN connection so that no bout helps so Netflix is next to be checked out. Also all the streaming services look better than I dared to expect. I was worried about the lack of Dolby Vision and that may still be an issue but the fact this set does its own LUTS on the fly seems to largely fix that and there is no doubt the colours are A grade with this set. The only down side is no SD card slot and even though you can connect a Hard Drive for recording there is no pause and rewind live TV as on the VT60 and which I use/ used all the time. In summary if you have been holding off waiting the things to settle, go for it this is a superb TV and at a reasonable price. PS even the smart features work well and the remote control is the best quality remote I have ever owned and I have had a lot. And the twin tuner and split screen mode is handy.
