Poor quality TV, Very Disappointed
We bought this tv in Jan 2022. Faults with the LCD screen and the led backlight have been getting progressively worse over the last year. The screen has quite a large dark patch from failed backlight LEDs and the right and bottom of the lcd panel are developing a different dark patches.

Great value TV, unbeatable for dollars per inch. Only gripe is that I can't get the LG channels app even though LG claim it is available on every LG TV since 2016!

Excellent service from appliances online. Delivered on time and great communication re the delivery time. This is the second time I have purchased products from appliances online and I can't fault them. Matt in product support went over and above my expectations- my new tv didn't have enough ports for both my pay tv and dvd player and when I contacted the support team, Matt emailed me with advice and suggestions then went on ebay and found me the cable I needed. Try getting that service at one of the big retail stores. If you are thinking of buying an appliance and wonder if appliances online is as great as the customer reviews say- YES IT IS. If you have an upscaling DVD Player, and Cable Set-Top box that both require an HDMI connection and a Firestick, you can purchase a 2-in, 1-out HDMI splitter that you can use with one of the HDMI ports on the LG UHD 80 Series 65-inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65UP8000PUR and plug one of the devices into the other HDMI input. HDMI splitters are available online or through retailers like BestBuy and they come in different configurations depending on your needs (i.e 3-in 1-out or 4-in, 1-out) and also come with a remote control so you can switch between the devices that you plug into the splitter. You can also use the F-Type 75-Ohm Coaxial connector in the back of the TV labeled as 'Antenna/Cable In' to connect to the coaxial connector on your Cable Set-Top box if it has one instead of using the HDMI output on it so you can use the 2 x HDMI ports for your Firestick and DVD Player...^Ivan LGAnswers_Ivan, Appliances Online
