Choose from a single or double shot, or press the Manual button to set a particular shot volume. You can track the volume, as well as the brewing temperature, on the LCD screen. The machine features a manual steam wand for texturing milk to a fine microfoam, while an in-built pressure gauge will allow you to keep track of espresso extraction so you can work towards the perfect crema.
For meticulous control over every variable of your cup, and high turnover of coffee beverages, the Breville Dual Boiler will deliver time and time again.

Independent dual boilers
Don’t sit around twiddling your thumbs while your espresso extracts. This machine’s dual boiler technology will allow you to steam milk at the same time. This is handy for when you have friends over and everyone puts their hand up for a coffee. The espresso boiler delivers a consistent temperature for optimum flavour, while the steam boiler uses instant, powerful steam to produce a velvety microfoam.

Choose your coffee size
This machine features buttons for producing both single and double shots. A single shot of coffee is 30 ml, so a double shot will give you a 60 ml of espresso for when you need that 3pm pick-me-up. You can select your setting and then walk away, as the machine will automatically stop once the appropriate volume has been extracted.

Pressure gauge
While pressure itself is not a variable in producing a fine cup of coffee, an awareness of how much pressure is behind your extraction will allow you to become more consistent in your brewing. By looking at the pressure gauge on your machine, you will know if your grounds are appropriately compressed or if you need to change your grind setting.

Microfoam texturing
Microfoam is steamed milk that is velvety smooth in texture, ideal for creating latte art. What you want is foam with small, even bubbles (unless you are trying to make a cappuccino). Powerful wattage gives you adequate steam to create rosettes, hearts, and more. Microfoam will also enhance the overall flavour of your cup.
