    Overview

The 60cm Serie 6 Induction Cooktop from Bosch delivers a superb cooking experience, with innovative features designed for effective cooking.

The spacious cooking surface offers four cooking zones, plus FlexInduction provides more flexibility by allowing you to combine two cooking zones into one which is great for roasters and large pans. Each cooking zone provides 17 power levels so you can get precise heating. There’s also a PowerBoost function which gives you rapid boiling or heating. Control everything effortlessly with the sleek touch controls at the front of the unit.

For added safety, a child lock will prevent accidental interference of the controls, and residual heat indicators will let you know if the cooktop is still hot to the touch. The elegant, attractive design of the cooktop made from black ceramic is easy to keep clean and adds style to any kitchen.
    Easy clean ceramic surface

Not only does the surface of this cooktop look great, but it's also so easy to keep clean. Spills and splashes can be wiped from the durable glass surface in an instant to keep your kitchen looking its best.

    Efficient induction heating

Because the induction cooking directly heats up the metal in your pots and pans rather than heating the four hotplates themselves, these cooktops are very fast, efficient and safe to use.

    Simple controls

Simply select your preferred cooking zone and increase or decrease the power level with the straightforward touch controls. This includes a PowerBoost mode for a short blast of high-intensity heating, as well as a Timer that can automatically switch off your cooktop after a set period of time.

    FlexInduction

This flexible zone allows you to combine the cooking zone into one larger zone for placing multiple small pots or large cookware.

    Fantastic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic usability, especially the flex function on the left side (which works great for big rectangular ceramic dishes). Easy to clean as well.

    Reasonable cooktop
I've had the cooktop for about 12 months. Sometimes the cooktop stops functioning and you have to turn it off at the powerpoint to reset the cooktop. If you try to change the setting with wet fingers, the cooktop does not always respond. If you spill water (eg condensation from a saucepan lid) on the cooktop, it can stop functioning. You need to put on high to stir fry, but it's not the same as gas despite what everyone says, but it's definitely better for the environment. I think that my old ceramic cooktop got hotter. I purchased the griddle pan for the flexihob at enormous cost. It works well but have since discovered you can buy a cheaper one from Chinatown or online (not Bosch branded).

    Questions & answers

Looking to replace Bosch induction cooktop. Unknown model. Cut out is 65cm width with 53cm depth. Suggestions please. Basil · 2024-04-29
Hello When you're replacing your old cooktop with a new one, it's important to consider other dimensions besides the benchtop material. If your benchtop is made of stone, your old cooktop will likely have been cut to fit it perfectly. This means that a new cooktop may not fit the space exactly and will require onsite modification. However, it's important to note that cutting stone can create a lot of dangerous dust, so you'll need to hire a stonemason with the proper equipment and gear to ensure safe and effective modifications.
