    Overview

The Bosch 90cm Serie 8 Induction Cooktop features five induction zones across this spacious surface.

Induction technology works by generating heat directly into your cookware, rather than the cooktop itself heating up. This ensures rapid heating and energy efficient cooking. There are 17 power levels available for each zone, so you can achieve precise heat, from a light simmer to a quick boil and everything in between. With the PerfectFry function, achieve amazing frying results. This feature excels at browning roasted foods thanks to sensor control with 5 power levels.

The DirectSelect Premium control panel makes it so quick and easy to control your temperature and set your desired functions. The sleek, smooth surface is so easy to keep clean, typically with just a quick wipe with a damp cloth.
    Efficient induction heating

Because the induction cooking directly heats up the metal in your pots and pans rather than heating the four hotplates themselves, these cooktops are very fast, efficient and safe to use.

    PowerBoost

Activate the PowerBoost function when you need extra heating power. This is useful when you need to quickly boil a pot of water, or if a recipe calls for intense heat.

    PerfectFry

Use the PerfectFry function when frying for amazing results. This feature excels at browning roasted foods thanks to sensor control with 5 power levels.

    Safety

This cooktop includes convenient safety features including the childproof lock, automatic safety switch-off, integrated cooling fan, and a digital 2-stage residual heat indicator for each cooking zone.

    Questions & answers

Hi Is this cooktop compatible with single phase power? Thanks Shane80 · 2023-11-29
Hello Shane, Thank you for this product question, this model requires 46amps so your electrician may have to upgrade the circuit to 50 amps and upgrade the electrical cable as well to operate on a single circuit best to chat with your electrician about the best option for your installation, we have the installation diagrams on our website that you are able to download to view. I trust that this information will prove helpful as you shop with us at Appliances Online. Our Sydney office operates around the clock 24/7, and you can reach us at 1300-000-500. I am interested in the Bosch series 8 induction cooktop. I currently have a gas cooktop of the same dimensions as this model, How much would it cost to get gas stove disconnected and this model installed. I live on Mornington Peninsula . Marcelle · 2023-10-22
Hello Marcello, I appreciate your product question. Switching from a gas to an induction cooktop involves several steps. Firstly, you will need a plumber to disconnect the gas connection. Next, an electrician will be required to establish a dedicated power connection from the electrical panel to the induction cooktop, as it needs its own circuit. Our website specifies that this model requires a 46-amp power supply. Finally, the installer will need to verify that the cutout for the original cooktop is compatible with the new model. To get a more accurate assessment and quotation, I recommend contacting our in-house team at Ph: 1300-000-500. They will guide you through the entire process. Hi there. Could you please advise what the minimum clearear distance is between this cooktop and the Bosch - 90cm Series 6 Integrated Design Rangehood? We need this information for builders installing our kitchen and I can't seem to find this information. Clare · 2023-09-10
Good Afternoon, Thank you for this product question, for electric distance between the top of the cooktop to the underside of the rangehood is from 600mm to 650mm. For gas cooktops the distance would be from the trivet to the underside of the rangehood between 650mm to 750mm this is due to having an exposed flame allowing for any flare-ups. We hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at 1300-000-500. Colin Jones, Appliances Online
