Good build quality, but a little disappointed. It came with an old POL LPG hose/regulator. Now being 2024, I thought it would have the new LCC fitting. I love grilling but it's impossible to fry an egg without a solid plate. A half plate is available but somewhat expensive at $70. Otherwise a great unit.

Firstly the good stuff - it cooks well with even heat - it is efficient in gas usage - it is transportable and can use screw in type gas canisters which saves you lugging around 4KG or 9KG bottles. And it was a good price. It came with only grills - so I purchased the optional plate that is double sided so that it can be placed on either side. The issues: 1. If you are cooking fatty food the lid collects some of the grease (as do all BBQ's) but unfortunately when the lid is lifted up some of it collects in the lid casting near the hinges and subsequently drips onto the surface the BBQ is standing on. 2. The optional plate that I mentioned earlier collects grease around its edges and does not drain well into the hole thought to the drip tray. It is double sided and does the some thing no matter which side I use and no matter how I "level" the BBQ on its stand. After use I have to use a spatula to coax the oil/grease to drain away. 3. The drip tray collects grease very well but it has a non-regular non-rectangular shape - so you are stuck with purchasing Napoleon drip tray inserts if you want to use inserts. I make my own inserts with heavy gauge aluminium foil.
