Honey Soy Beef Skewers, Choy Sum and Jasmine Rice

Ingredients

  • 600g Rump steak, cut into thin strips
  • 4 x tbsp Honey
  • 4 x tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 Bunch choy sum, trimmed, washed cut into 7cm lengths
  • ¼ Cup (60ml) oyster sauce
  • Jasmine steamed rice, to serve
  • Directions

  • Mix the soy and honey together in a bowl.
  • Thread beef strips onto bamboo skewers, and roll in the honey and soy mixture to coat all over.
  • Grease a large frying pan and heat on medium.
  • Cook skewers for 2 minutes, turning until cooked. Remove from pan.
  • Cook choy sum in same pan on high heat for 2 - 3 minutes, until just wilted. Add oyster sauce and add 2 tbsp of water and cook for for another 2 mins.
  • Place the beef on a bed of choy sum drizzle with sauce, and serve with rice.
