Caramel Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • ¾ Cup soft brown sugar
  • 50g Butter, diced
  • 1 tbsp Treacle or golden syrup
  • 1 Cup thick cream
  • Directions

  • Place sugar, butter and half cream in a sauce pan.
  • Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.
  • Increase the heat and boil for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened.
  • Remove from the heat stir in remaining cream.
  • To serve, pour into a glass boat.
  • Tips: Best served with the sticky date pudding.
