About Vitality 4 Life
Vitality 4 Life was started in the late 1980s after Roger Atkins first discovered cold press juicers, understanding the numerous health benefits of using raw fruits and vegetables. Roger’s enthusiasm for cold press juicing and the nutritional rewards of raw foods laid the foundation of the Australian-owned company.
Immersing himself further into the world of health, Roger Atkins embraced the principles and teachings of Dr Norman Walker who coined the phrase ‘Living Juice’. This concept referred to nutritional enzymes in fruits and vegetables breaking down at temperatures exceeding 50 degrees Celsius, caused by the friction of juicer motors.
Inspired by natural health professionals, such as Brian Clements, director of the Hippocrates Institute, Roger further cemented his knowledge and expertise in the world of juicing. Working with Brian Clements, Roger designed and developed the GreenPower Hippocrates Twin Gear Juicer, importing them into Australia.
This sparked the beginning of an era in Australia, the era of the cold press juicer. Since the advent of cold press juicers, they have been optimised to become smaller, compact, and easier to clean.
