Looking for Simpson quality washers and dryers? Electrolux and Westinghouse have what you need!

For over 150 years, Simpson was synonymous with durability, reliability, and efficiency in Australian laundries. Whether at your grandparents' home or during a hotel stay, chances are a Simpson washing machine or dryer has cared for your clothes at some point.

Founded in Adelaide in 1853 by Alfred Simpson, the company initially produced tinware for agricultural products. From humble beginnings, it built a solid reputation based on family values, integrity, and simple, honest products that performed consistently - values that continued to be embodied in its contemporary tagline of ‘Quality kept simple’.

Under Alfred's son's leadership, the business expanded its product range and by the 20th century had ventured into the household appliances market. In 1963, Simpson merged with Pope Industries, and later with Email Limited in 1986.

After several ownership and structural changes, Electrolux acquired the business in 2000. Until the early 2020s, Electrolux continued producing laundry goods under the Simpson brand for the Australian and New Zealand markets. However, as part of a brand streamlining effort, Simpson-branded washing machines and dryers are no longer available for purchase.

For those seeking new laundry appliances, Electrolux offers a wide range of highly-rated Electrolux and Westinghouse branded front and top load washers, vented and heat pump dryers and washer dryer combos.
