The Ultimate Kitchen Workspace
A Franke Box Centre sink will allow you to achieve more while occupying less space in your kitchen. Subverting the traditional sink-and-drainer setup, a Box Centre transforms your kitchen sink into a culinary workspace, with all your essentials for meal prep living in the smaller bowl of your sink. With parts such as a colander, a triple knife set, a sanitised chopping board, and a drying rack, the only thing the Box Centre can’t do is cook your meal. Do away with clutter and discover a workstation that will make your heart flutter.
Ideal if you have a laminate or timber benchtop, inset sinks are designed to be inserted into the bench from above, with the 'lip' of the sink resting on the countertop. It’s important to measure your benchtop cut-out to ensure your new sink will fit correctly.
Flush-mount sinks are designed to sit in a specially cut groove in your benchtop. This achieves a seamless flow between benchtop and sink and, when installed correctly, you won’t see any sink lip sticking out. As with undermount sinks, measurements need to be exact when installing this type of sink, so please refer to the specification sheet.
Franke taps are designed to perfectly complement the comprehensive range of Franke stainless steel sinks.
They are superb in design and manufactured with exceptional quality.

The Prep. The Party. The Clean-Up.
For optimum concentration, great cooks may benefit from solitude when trying to perfect a recipe. With the Franke Chef Centre, the act of cooking becomes invitational, and your kitchen becomes a hub for entertainment. Utilise everything from a glass chopping board to a Rollamat, to a multi-level sink grid. There’s even an antimicrobial compost bin for all your food scraps, and a multi-purpose storage bin that can store cleaning products one day and chill sparkling wine the next.
Designed for those with stone or marble benchtops, or for those who are limited on space, undermount sinks are installed underneath your kitchen benchtop to give your workspace a clean, undisturbed presentation. Please note, measurements need to be exact when installing an undermount sink, so please refer to your sink’s specification sheet.
Franke sinks are durable, easy to clean, and ravishing to behold. The Swiss brand is proud to be the world’s largest manufacturer of stainless steel sinks. Stainless steel imbues a kitchen with a timeless aesthetic. The pore-free surface of a Franke stainless steel sink is resistant to rust and corrosion, and can withstand extreme heat and cold. There is also a range of Franke Fragranite sinks, for those wanting an even tougher texture. Available in white or onyx black, and composed from 80% quartz sand and 20% very hard acrylic resin, a Fragranite sink will make a statement in any kitchen with its subtle shine.
When Hermann Franke founded his own sheet metal business in 1911, he couldn’t have envisioned that his humble craftsman’s workshop would one day grow into a global specialist in kitchen solutions, employing 9,000 people across almost every continent.
Throughout its first 30 years, the bulk of Franke’s manufacturing consisted of oven tops, roof windows, and dormers. The first sink made of galvanised copper sheet came in the late 1920s, but the real breakthrough would occur in the mid-1930s when Franke produced the first stainless steel sink. This got the ball rolling for series production and improved welding technology, and Franke changed the location of its headquarters and looked to extend its reach beyond Switzerland.
Today, Franke conceives of its operations as a culmination of five divisions. Its Kitchen Systems division aims to enhance the results of amateur and professional chefs alike. Innovative engineering, unique design, and outstanding Swiss quality form the backbone of everything Franke touches. Franke seeks to provide unconventional solutions to everyday problems, and it’s imperative that form follows function with all of its products.
