Ingredients

  • 500g Basil leaves
  • 1 Litre good quality of virgin olive oil
  • Container to seal
  • Directions

  • Heat olive oil until it is warm to touch.
  • Pour the olive oil into the container along with the basil leaves.
  • Seal and leave the container for 3 weeks, decant.
  • The oil can be used for pastas, soups and bruschetta.
