Recall Notices

Vita-Mix are issuing an important safety notice in respect of Vitamix 225ml and 600ml Blending Containers and Blade Bases which are compatible with certain Vitamix Ascent Series Blenders.

Through their ongoing quality inspection program, Vita-Mix have identified a potential safety issue with the US versions of the above containers. It is possible that the container may separate from the blade base exposing the blades to consumers, creating a laceration hazard.

Consumers who have had their double door refrigerator repaired under this recall should turn the refrigerator off immediately and do not use.

Consumers with affected refrigerators should contact Electrolux for a refund or replacement.

This update is for all consumers who have had their affected double door refrigerator repaired, including the double door refrigerators repaired before 6 March 2023.

Repairs of the refrigerator under this recall were stopped on 16 November 2023.
