I have used Dimplex heaters in the past and always been satisfied with the quality and performance, and this one is no exception. However I do have one qualification - given my age and physical condition, the location of the control buttons and display screen near the bottom of the heater is inconvenient. Getting down to floor level to read it (and then back up again) is a major undertaking for an elderly or disabled user. A better design would have it on or near the top. Otherwise, all OK - it works as advertised.

My house is pretty cold and the heater wasn't strong enough to warm up the lounge. We decided to use it in our bedroom ...bad idea! It needs to be on at least an hour before we go to bed otherwise the room still cold and by the time we want to sleep I need to turn it off because of the noise.
